Work permit (Work permit) is an occupational permit for foreigners. It is an important document for foreigners who wish to come to work in Thailand legally. Foreigners need to apply for a work permit to the Ministry of Labor in accordance with the Emergency Decree on Management of Foreigners' Work B.E. 2017 and additional amendments (No. 2) B.E. 2018, if foreigners traveling to Thailand to work but have not yet received a work permit will be considered an offense according to the law. To apply for a work permit, foreigners need to have residence in the Kingdom or permission to enter the Kingdom temporarily. (Non-Immigrant Visa) according to immigration law without permission to enter as a tourist or passerby (Tourist/Transit) will then be able to apply for a work permit. Whether or not the work permit application will be successful depends on various conditions Including the registered capital of the employer's company. The officer will consider granting a work permit based on the necessity of the job or as requested for the period allowed to work in Thailand, including 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, and a maximum of 2 years at a time.
