Notification of foreign workers leaving their jobs
When a foreign worker leaves their job, or their employment ends, or if a foreigner escapes, the employer is required to notify the registrar within 15 days from the date the foreign worker leaves the job, the employment ends, or the foreigner escapes.
Documents required.
1. Notice of termination of employment, signed by the employer, along with 2 copies.
2. The original work permit (except in cases where the foreigner cannot be contacted; please attach a copy of the work permit, if available).
3. A copy of the certificate of registration of the establishment, such as the certificate of incorporation of a company.
4. Employer's ID card or a copy of the employer's ID card.
5. A power of attorney from the employer, along with a 10 baht stamp duty, in the case of granting authority to another person to notify on their behalf, along with a copy of the identification card of both the grantor and the grantee.
